Jersey State Health Assessment Data (NJSHAD) is an interactive tool
that provides users with customized tables and maps of New Jersey
health data. |

| Births |
Birth
data may be tabulated by year of birth; age, race, ethnicity,
marital status, and county or municipality of residence of the
mother; and maternal and infant health indicators. State maps
by county may also be produced. |
| Deaths |
Death
data may be tabulated by year of death; age, race, sex, and
county or municipality of residence of the decedent; and cause
of death. State maps by county may also be produced.

| Infant Deaths |
Infant death data may be tabulated by year of death; age, race, ethnicity, marital status, and county of residence of the mother; age, plurality, and birthweight of the infant; onset of prenatal care; and cause of death. State maps by county may also be produced. |
| Fetal Deaths |
Fetal death data may be tabulated by year of death; age, race, ethnicity, marital status, and county of residence of the mother; gestational age, plurality, and delivery weight of the fetus; onset of prenatal care; and cause of death. State maps by county may also be produced. |
| Marriages |
Marriage data may be tabulated by year and month of marriage;
county of occurrence; and age and previous marital status of
the bride and groom. |

NJSHAD was developed using Internet Explorer version 5.50. Other
web browsers or earlier versions of Internet Explorer may not display
all graphics properly.

NJSHAD was developed by the Missouri Department of Health and adapted
by the State of New Jersey. The graphics were developed using
gd by Thomas Boutell and the database using the GNU database GDBM.
