Note:  Rates are not available as output table statistics because population estimates by age, race, ethnicity, and sex (the denominators for rate calculation) are not available at the municipality level in intercensal years.  Therefore,  crude rates may only be calculated for the entire population of a municipality and age-adjustment is not possible.  Population estimates are available for calculation of crude rates outside of the NJSHAD system.
